This year marks the 6th time Battle Of The Beat Makers is running and this year a very special line up of producers and judges. Boi-1Da, Canada’s hottest producer and two-time GRAMMY nominee will be a judge and it will be a truly special evening because Boi-1Da, a FL Studio Producer, got his start with this very competition and participated several times in the past. This year he is returning to the competition as a judge after having 2 number 1 hits in the span on a week as the producer of chart-topper Drake.

Battle of The Beat Makers will highlight the capabilities the top-32 producers from the entry phase who will be competing on the night. Each producer brings 10 of their best beats which are judged by acclaimed industry professionals - producers, record company execs, radio personalities and DJs.
The beat will be judged on three criteria:
· Originality and Creativity of Production
· Mixing and Editing of Production
· Crowd Reaction
