Here's a simple, but effective, method for adding presence to dry drum or other percussive sounds. Something the FL Studio Guru learned waaaaay back in the day when the 128 Kb was still considered adequate RAM for a sampler.

Linear Phase EQ in ...: Linear Phase EQ (LP EQ) is often used by mastering engineers and also in plugins that need to split the frequency spectrum into bands for processing (such as Multi-band compressors). The Guru shows us two LP EQ options for FL Studio:
