Welcome to Drumaxx, in this video I do a quick once-over of the plugin...

As you probably have already seen, until the 31st of March 2010 we are selling Drumaxx under the 'Pay what you think it's worth' system. The minimum is 9 Euros to cover our costs, but after that it's entirely up to you what you think Drumaxx is worth and how much Image-Line deserves.

Also, we are giving $1 USD to a charity (TBA) associated with supporting Haitian earthquake victims.

Spread the love and grab a copy of Drumaxx before we come to our senses :)

Head over to the Drumaxx page for Mac and Windows installers (VST, AU and FL native) and to hear some great audio demos.

Keyboard shortcuts can make a huge difference to your work-flow in FL Studio, this one in particular is great when you have long Piano roll patterns and need to move about in them at fairly high zoom. The same technique works in the Playlist.

Not even gol (FL Studio's creator) or me (manual writer) can remember every Keyboard shortcut, but a few select ones go a long way to making FL Studio the quickest way from your brain to your speakers :)

You can see an (almost?) complete list of shortcuts here in the manual.

So what's your favourite Keyboard shortcuts? Click here to discuss in Looptalk, I will pick some of the best and make new Top Tips for them

That got me thinking about their great facilities, the power of the Abbey Road brand being used to sell plugins and it also reminded me of something I keep seeing in their control rooms, B&W consumer Hi-Fi speakers (insert collective gasp here)...

Two of 3 B&W 800D Hi-Fi speakers in Control Room 1 at Abbey Rd.

Pair of B&W 805S Hi-Fi (near field monitors) in Control Room 2 at Abbey Rd.

The role of the modern monitor speaker (the Wikipedia link left covers the topic quite well), seems to have ...

It's the little things that can help your workflow and like many functions in FL Studio this one has lived under the under the Right-click button since FL Studio 9...

I use this technique often to access files outside my Browser list, just open the Windows File Explorer and go grab them.
