DrumSynth Live VSTi released

Image-Line have released the VSTi version of DrumSynth Live. It's available for purchase in the webshop and can be downloaded by registered users of the FL Studio version.

DrumSynth Live is the FL Studio and VSTi plugin version of the popular DrumSynth standalone created by Maxim Digital Audio. DrumSynth Live features simultaneous support for 120 real-time programmable drum patches, each assigned to a separate key (C0 to B9). You can morph dynamically from one drum patch to another. The sound is created by two noise generators, filtered by bandpass filters with an incredible range - you can set anything from single frequency (sine wave) to full white noise.

30 new FPC kits

There are now 30 more kits available for download through the FPC downloader.

The "real" drums were recorded in as non-invasive a way as possible. No EQ, no compression, nothing but a drum and a microphone (or two). This was done so that the end user could modify the sound of each drum to his or her liking. They were recorded using the best mic for each specific drum. So the range of microphones used were pretty big. AKG C1000's, Octava MK-012's, and Shure PG81's were used as overheads. AKG D112, Shure Beta 52 and Sennheiser MD421MKII's were used for Kicks and Low toms. Sennheiser MD421MKII's, Shure Beta 98DS's, Sure SM57's and Sennheiser e604's were used on toms. A Shure SM57, Rode NT1a, and a and a Shure Beta98DS.

All new Electronic drum kits were made through experimentation using samples, hardware synths, and software synths.

To get the new kitslist just 'Refresh' the list :

You may have to do this a couple of times due to a server synchronisation problem on our side.

Deckadance 1.13 released

Image-Line have released version 1.13 of their DJ software Deckadance. The new version can be downloaded here: demo.deckadance.com.

* [imp] - Improvement in the PFL monitoring section. Now it allows to blend between Main and PFL on the phones [DD-23].
* [fix] - Echo effect doesn't synchronize correctly with the tempo of the song [DD-24]
