FL Studio 10.5 introduced Performance Mode and it's proving to be a huge hit with customers. Image-Line's CTO, JMC, recently connected 9 x FLaunchpads and 6 x video monitors to FL Studio to do some 'stress testing'. We are happy to report everything worked perfectly and we thought you'd like to see a video, so here it is:
There are many ways to control Performance Mode, you can use one of the pad-style controllers including an Akai APC20/40, Hexler TouchOSC, Livid Block, liine (i)Lemur, Novation Launchpad, Native Instruments MASCHINE (& MIKRO), Traktor Kontrol F1, KORG padKONTROL or Korg nanoKONTROL II. Alternatively you can use any standard MIDI controller including keyboards, drum pads etc. You can even use the typing keyboard or a touch-screen directly on the Playlist (just make sure to download the FL Studio 10.6 beta for touch functions)
If you'd like to submit a Performance Mode video, feel free to drop one into our performance video thread here. BTW: If you are wondering what a FLaunchpad is, here's a close up of one below. They are functionally identical to the standard Novation Launchpad, so if 9 x FLaunchpads work simultaneously then so will 9 x Launchpads.

FL STUDIO MOBILE FAQ
What about Android OS? It's on the roadmap, stop nagging! We have a development team working on a low-latency Android audio-engine and there are many screen resolutions and device specifications to consider, it's not as simple as you may think :)
Does this mean FL Studio on Mac OSX soon? FL Studio Mobile is not a port of the Windows version of FL Studio. It is the product of a completely separate development team, and code, so FL Studio Mobile, while compatible with FL Studio has no impact on FL Studio development and vice versa. Can I load my own samples? Not in version 1.0. We plan to enable user uploads in a future update.
Can I use VSTs? No, iOS does not support VSTs and frankly the devices it runs on don't have the CPU power to perform the synthesis you are used to on a desktop. FL Studio Mobile uses high quality sample based instruments made from Image-Line plugins and sample packs.

1. Load a monophonic melody (vocal/instrumental whatever you have, tonal/timbre variation is good) into Newtone. If you don't have Newtone you can get it here. You can also skip this step and use Edison edit out a string of notes of the same pitch.
2. Use Newtone to flatten the pitch to a single note (close to the average of the melody).
3. Load the flattened melody into Edison and remove any gaps between notes and other non-melodic noises. 'S,T,C,CH & F' sounds can become unwanted noise 'hiss' after blurring.
4. Add at least 4 seconds silence before and after the flattened melody.
