Danyella is based in Germany and produces a wide variety of music but is best known for her epic trance sound. Danyella first came to our attention when we put out a call for female FL Studio users to contact us. Since then Danyella has been steadily making a name for herself in the trance scene. We asked Danyella how she came to write music and use FL Studio...
Tell us about your music and yourself?
I've been making music all my life. As a child, I was already experimenting with instruments and later started composing and remixing tracks after receiving a Technics keyboard with a sequencer at the age of 11. I joined music school right after besides my regular school for several years.
How did you come to use FL Studio & what were your first impressions?
Back in 2008 I wanted to get into digital music production, so I started searching and comparing software I could use. I stumbled over a YouTube video of a person composing tracks with FL Studio. I was hooked immediately and downloaded the demo right after. I had never used software to produce music before at that time, but had no difficulties with FL whatsoever, I loved the user-friendly layout. Just a few months later my tracks already signed away to labels just by posting them online for fun. I have spent thousands of hours with this software since then and I am still using FL Studio daily. I would not want to switch over to anything else.
