Image Line Software, has released its newest VSTi for percussion modeling, Drumatrix. Drumatrix is a virtual instrument that gives total control of 10 physically modelled drums. Each drum can be routed to independent output for external effects processing. Drumatrix includes 130 drumkits, 900 drum patches, 200 drum patterns and not a single sample in sight. The product will be offered by the "Pay what you think it's worth" system. The minimum price is 9 EUR to cover costs. 1 EUR from each sale will be donated to charity to help the people of Haiti, affected by the January Earthquake..

Over 100 parameters, most automatable, are available on the clear one-page GUI making Harmless perfect for live performance and sound-design experimentation. Every Autogun is set to start from a unique preset number, so that each Autogun user is assigned a personal starting preset-address, ready to explore. Image Line Software - the developer of FL Studio (formerly FruityLoops), released the newest version of its DJ mixing application Deckadance with many improved functionalities for the best DJ performance. Deckadance 1.5 is available for MAC and PC and gains a new audio engine with an amazing high quality of the sound. Version 1.5 now supports batch beat-analysis of the songs (reducing load times/CPU load during a performance) and time-stretching/compression technology. DJs can enjoy new playlist design with variable font sizes, view modes and the ability to import iTunes playlists.
