FL Studio 9.6 Beta, the newest version of Image-Line’s popular audio production software, includes many useful changes to the base program giving even more core value to FL Studio users. Registered users can download it from their account.

FL Studio 9.5 notable fixes/changes

•    PitCHER (Beta) - Pitch correction and harmonization plugin.
•    Horizontal zoom - Improved Playlist, Piano roll & Event Editor.
•    Piano roll - Vertical zoom now possible & notes include properties view.
•    Note handle - On note selection to rescale length
•    Piano roll wave-display - Align notes to audio events.
•    Magic lasso - Circle mouse around Notes or Clips to make a selection.
•    Autosave / Autobackup - See F10 File options.
•    Browser Autohide - See the Browser menu options.
•    Lock Playlist tracks to clips - Right-click on Playlist tracks to lock and mimic Bock-tracks.
•    Shift + Mouse Wheel - Move Channels, Mixer Tracks, Playlist Tracks & Patterns, Envelopes.

Notable changes in FL Studio 9.5 Beta previously included:

•    Larger mixer view & waveform metering - From the mixer View options.
•    Individually sizable Playlist tracks - Any or all Playlist tracks can now be resized.
•    Live Playlist marker types - Playlist markers can be set to Loop, Pause or Skip. 
•    64 bit plugin support - The Wrapper now automatically detects 64 bit plugins.
•    Improved memory management - Lower demands on FL Studio's memory allocation.
•    Improved audio options - ASIO: 'Mix in bufferswitch' and 'Triple buffer' may improve performance.
•    Fully automatic PDC - The default for new projects.
•    Piano roll transport control - Song mode will now move in sync with the Piano roll.
•    Ctrl+B (Clips & Notes) - Duplicates selection, zoom-range, all (no selection).
•    Piano roll - Rounded notes view.
•    Left-Shift resize splits - Works on Clips in the Playlist or notes/chords in the Piano roll.

Registered FL Studio 9 customers can download and try FL Studio to 9.6 free.

FL Studio 9.1

FL Studio 9.1 is still available. All download customers automatically have lifetime free updates (LFU) and can upgrade from any version of FL Studio to 9.1, free. Boxed Customers without LFU and using FL Studio 7 or lower can gain LFU status for a one-time payment of $39 USD. FL Studio 9.1 is available for purchase online (via download) or in boxed form through traditional music & software outlets.

FL Studio 9 Boxes

FL Studio 9 boxes purchased in stores can be upgraded to all sub-versions of FL Studio 9 and later FL Studio 10 (when it is released) free of charge. No need to worry your FL Studio 9 box is out of date.

All downloadable versions include lifetime free updates in the purchase price. For those who prefer to buy the boxed version, Image-Line is including a Virtual Cash Card in the box that customers can use to register online and to receive $49 USD virtual cash. The v-cash can be spent on lifetime Free Updates or put toward other Image-Line download-products. Any FL Studio 9 box can be upgraded to FL Studio 9.1 free via program download.
