Foreign Teck

I’m Foreign Teck and I have always been into music as a kid. I idolized Timbaland & Scott Storch. As time passed and I started diving into production I realized that it was my calling. I knew right away that I was gonna do this for the rest of my life.

How did you start using FL Studio & what does it mean to your productions?

Mannnn FL Studio changed my life ! My old partner Ricky Remedy who was the other half to my producer duo “The Mekanics” introduced me to the software back in 2011. I was using Logic at the time and we would always have to send stems to each other. He didn’t have a Mac so I just decided to try FL Studio on my PC so we can have a faster workflow and I FELL IN LOVE! I never looked back. FL Studio is everything to me.

Tell us about your work and some of the artists you worked with?

Well my resume spreads across the board from Drake, Travis Scott, Post Malone, Da Baby, Bryson Tiller, Meek Mill, Tory Lanez, Chris Brown, all the way to Latin Artists such as Anuel, Bad Bunny, Ozuna, Bryant Myers and much more! God has blessed me majorly !

Tell us about your production environment and the gear you use?

I use a Razor Laptop with 32 GB of ram … nothing too special. FL Studio is my weapon of choice. I’m married to FL Studio 11. I respect the development of the DAW but I can’t fix what is not broken. (for creative mood) I usually like to smoke hookah, have the right lighting & maybe some candles. And always have to have a cold room. I hate the heat.

Is there anything else you would like to tell us?

Yes, Thank you guys for recognizing my work. It’s always been a goal of mine to collaborate with Image Line. I feel like I owe you guys a lot ! i look forward to building more in the near future !!
