Tell us about yourself and how you got into music.

I’m India, known to everyone else as “India Got Them Beats”. I come from a very small town in Central Florida of about 3-4 thousand people. Music has always been in my family & I’ve always been around it. Music comes to me easily.

How did you start using FL Studio & what does it mean to your productions?

After being curious for a while, I went to YouTube to see what everyone else was using to make beats and found FL Studio. From then on, I poured all of my time into it. FL Studio means a lot to all of my productions — it’s been a part of every beat I’ve made and every placement I’ve had released, and continues to be today.

Tell us about your work and some of the artists you have worked with.

My catalog is my most prized possession. I’ve worked with NBA Youngboy (primarily), Quando Rondo, Polo G, Lil Poppa, Da Baby, Blacc Zacc, and many more. Regarding my style — I prefer a melodic sound, with grit and versatility.

Tell us about your production environment and the gear you use.

I love making beats from my bedroom studio — comfort is key. I purchased the Yamaha P-125, and Native Instruments S49, whilst also having the Akai Professional Fire Controller for FL Studio. FL is also easily compatible with my Macbook running really smoothly and fast.
