Having produced hits for many of the biggest names in Hip Hop, from Chris Brown and Young Thug to Usher and Future, he doesn’t have to say much more. Future (co-prod. by Murphy Kid) Tell us about yourself and how you got into music. I’m a music producer from North Carolina. I was always interested in learning how to make my own music, which is what got me into music production. How did you start using FL Studio & what does it mean to your productions? Seeing [fellow Power User] 9th Wonder get placements with Jay-Z, Destiny’s Child, and Mary J. Blige showed me what was possible with the DAW. I got the demo of FL Studio 7 after school one day and it has been essential to my production ever since. |

I use an MSI Laptop, Yamaha Monitors, a Focusrite audio interface, a Komplete 49 Key MIDI Controller, and an MPC Key 37. The Parametric EQ 2, Fruity Reverb 2, FLEX, and Sytrus are some that I tend to use the most. |
