MXRCI Panjab-born producer MXRCI’s music has reached a staggering number of fans, and he’s only just getting started. Having worked with several of the biggest names in Panjabi music such as Sidhu Moose Wala, Karan Aujla, and others, and delving into various other genres as well, his penchant for producing impactful music has led him to being part of numerous smash hits. Having used FL Studio from the very beginning, we’re thrilled to welcome him as an official FL Studio Power User. Read on to learn more about his story. 0 to 100 – Sidhu Moose Wala x MXRCI Tell us about yourself and how you got into music. I go by the name MXRCI and was born in Panjab. I first started producing music when I was in ninth grade at school, which was when I first learned about FL Studio. So I started using FL Studio and taught myself how to make music. How did you start using FL Studio & what does it mean to your productions? One of my friends told me about a software program you could make music on. It was called FL Studio. So when I got back home, it was the first thing I downloaded, and that’s where I started my journey with FL Studio. For me, it makes the process of producing music real fun, and easier, too. |
Winning Speech – Karan Aujla x MXRCI Tell us about your work and some of the artists you have worked with. I love to experiment. When I make music there are no limits. I can make Hip Hop beats, Dance beats, Panjabi beats and recently some Afro-inspired productions too. I am really blessed to have have worked with big names in the Panjabi music industry like the forever legend Sidhu Moose Wala, Arjan Dhillon and Karan Aujla, to name a few…but watch this space, I have so much more to come. Tell us about your production environment and the gear you use. I love studios with big speakers! But my go to set up is Yamaha speakers, a 16″ Macbook, and a MIDI keyboard. MXRCI in the Studio What is your top FL Studio tip for up-and-coming producers? My top FL Studio tip…there is a new update where you can find samples by just searching (FL Cloud). For me, the major update was when FL Cloud Sounds and Mastering became available. Is there anything else you would like to tell us? |
