Read on to learn more about his interesting story and experience with FL Studio. Xamã – Malvadão 3 (Prod. DJ Gustah & Neobeats) Tell us about yourself and how you got into music. My parents are immigrants, and they used to play Peruvian Andean music in metro stations and on the streets. My mother would even perform with me in her arms, so from a young age, I was deeply connected to music. As I grew up, I started helping them, and that naturally sparked my passion for music, immersing me in the musical world. How did you start using FL Studio & what does it mean to your productions? As my passion for music grew, I wanted to learn how to create my own versions of songs, which led me to search the internet until I discovered FL Studio back in 2015. Nowadays, I know FL Studio like the back of my hand, and that helps me a lot in my creative process. Tell us about your work and some of the artists you have worked with. I love making music, and Brazil has a very unique sound due to Brazilian funk and other musical influences. I’ve explored these unique sounds until I developed my own signature style. All the big artists in Brazil seek this sound, and that’s what led me to work with the entire Brazilian music industry, including renowned names like Xamã, Poze do Rodo, Ryan SP, Oruam, and many others. This has also brought me major label partnerships and solidified my credibility in the Brazilian music market. |
A Cara do Crime “NÓS INCOMODA”- MC Poze do Rodo | Bielzin | PL Quest | MC Cabelinho (prod. Neobeats) Tell us about your production environment and the gear you use. I wish I could say I have my dream studio, fully equipped to the max, but honestly, nowadays in Brazil, there’s a “raw” aesthetic to music production. Home studios are set up in houses, and artists record inside buses during tours, so as a producer, I’ve had to adapt. In my studio, I have a Neumann U87 mic, but when I travel with artists on tour, I really like using a TLM-103. On the streets, working with analog gear is way harder, so at the end of the day, it’s not about the spaceship you drive—it’s about the experience of the pilot! NEO BEATS – Enxuga Gelo #04 What is your top FL Studio tip for up-and-coming producers? Don’t be intimidated by the DAW—once you understand it, it will become your best friend. I actually uninstalled FL Studio five minutes after installing it for the first time, so patience is key! Is there anything else you would like to tell us? I’ve always used FL Studio for everything! For making beats, recording artists, mixing, and mastering, I’ve helped build the “FL Gang” movement in Brazil. Neobeats Links: |
