Mata – Lloret de Mar (prod. by Pedro)

Tell us about yourself and how you got into music.

I’m a music producer born and raised in Warsaw, Poland, with Bolivian roots. My father, a musician himself, was the one who sparked my interest in music. He came to Poland from Bolivia at the age of 16 and formed a band in Warsaw. As a kid, he introduced me to the basics of various instruments and even enrolled me in violin classes. I played the violin for many years until an argument with my professor led me to quit.

During middle school, I met some friends who were underground rappers and needed beats. Knowing my musical background, they asked if I could make some for them. That’s how my journey into music production began.

How did you start using FL Studio & what does it mean to your productions?

From the start, I knew FL Studio was the DAW I wanted to use. I saw a video of Lex Luger making a fire beat on it, which inspired me. I downloaded the software and started learning.

Mata – Kiss cam (prod. by Pedro)

Tell us about your work and some of the artists you have worked with.

Over the years, I’ve produced many songs that reached #1 in Poland, including “Kiss Cam (Podryw Roku)” by Mata—the first Polish-language track to feature on the Billboard Global 200 Excl. US chart. I also co-produced “Lloret de Mar” by Mata, the first Polish song to appear in the EA Sports FC 25 game, alongside Joe Stanley, who has worked with major UK artists like Central Cee, and Dkane, the producer behind Yeat’s “SHHH.”

I’ve earned numerous diamond certifications in Poland, and one of the albums I worked on recently achieved 2× diamond status. My main collaborator is Mata, Poland’s most influential and successful rapper. In addition to Polish artists, I work with producers and artists from around the world. I often travel internationally, visiting studios and collaborating with creatives from various cultures.

Tell us about your production environment and the gear you use.

I love working on my laptop, whether I’m at home or in studios across the globe. The one thing I always need in any studio is a good couch—somewhere to relax, listen, and reflect after finishing a track. I also love adding real instruments to my production.
