Tell us about how you got into music ?
I'm Belgian [just like FL Studio Ed.] and live in Ghent. When I was really young I started singing so my parents decided to send me to music theory lessons. When I was 10 started to play the guitar and by 16 played the drums for 4 years. I was around 12 when I discovered FL Studio. A new world opened my eyes. I've been producing for 7 years now and 7 years on FL Studio.
I've had several artist names because it took a long time to define me into music. Most recently I was working under 'Mary Trappins'. But I've grown a lot thanks to support from SYZYGY, $aturn, Maxx Baer, GRMM, etc. I'm about to start playing my first shows later this year.
What do you want to achieve with your music?
I've never thought of being really famous or anything but a dream of mine is to make a living out of my music. I would also love to go on tour. First of all the USA and Asia is also a place I really want to visit. There are some labels I would love to be a part of too.
How did you start using FL Studio & what does it mean to your productions?
I can't remember how I discovered FL Studio, but I'm so glad I did. FL Studio means everything to my creativity. It's the only way I can put my ideas into reality. I use FL Studio every day and I'm never tired of it. I think it's the best DAW to start with when you've never made music on the computer but it's also perfect for more advanced producers. This is why I love FL Studio so much, it's for EVERYONE.
Tell us about your production environment & toys?
I've created my own little studio. Basically a subwoofer, two speakers, a piano (without MIDI cable). I also use Traktor S2 for my shows. In Fl Studio I use Sakura a lot, NI Massive, Orchestral and all of the native FL Studio effects.
