Tell us about how you got into music?
We met in university studying Biomedical Engineering but quickly realised we both had the same genuine interest in music. Although we have been musical for most of our lives we hadn't acted on it professionally until we decided to leave University and pursue music production/cinematography.
Our music is inspired by many factors, as is true for most artists, but electronic music has always fascinated us in some way. The concept of blending genres and sounds together has shaped our artistry and our name.
What are your musical goals?
After releasing our latest single "SPARKS" we have started work on our next EP. We aim to make our music as captivating as possible, taking the listener to different places in each song.
We are not just musical artists. We create our own music videos where we aim to capture the sound in a visual format. Our aim is to develop our skills to a point where we can convey an idea in our minds as accurately as possible. We wish to show our learning process so as to help others shape theirs.
How did you start using FL Studio & what does it mean to your productions?
After trying a few DAWs, FL Studio stood out as the most intuitive, user friendly and professional work environment. It allows us to lay down musical ideas with both speed, depth and precision, without creative limitation.
Being able to easily record acoustic instruments and blend them seamlessly with electronic production is crucial to our sound, FL Studio has never let us down. It allows us to stay organised even with very large or complex projects and also allows easy sharing of project files.
Tell us about your production environment & toys?
Our studio is very minimal so we try to make the most out of the equipment and tools available to us. Using FL Studio allows us to do most of our production "In The Box" so this makes it easier for young producers like us to create music without access to large studios or funding.
We use KRK Rokit 5s , A RODE NT 2 A microphone, an old guitar and all the feature packed synths and effects inside FL Studio to create our soundscapes.
