Tell us about yourself & how you got into music?

My name is Sonu Lal and I am born in Berlin 1989. From early on, music has played an important role in my life. Growing up in Berlin Wedding, I visited the primary school next to us in the neighborhood which was basically a music orientated school. Music was like the subjects German and mathematics a major subject. In favor of my carrier, I learned playing drums and saxophone during my six years at primary school, what had given me a kind of far-sightedness and a feeling for music right from the beginning.

How did you start using FL Studio & what does it mean to your productions?

In my youth, I have been listening to much music endlessly, but without limiting myself to a certain genre. Moreover, I was giving a chance to everything. This time had influenced me immensely, which led me further and further into the matter. Additionally, my Indian/ German roots know no boundaries in music. Very early, my big brother recognized my enthusiasm for wave forms. I still remember that day very well when I came home and my brother, sitting in front of the computer, said to me with a broad grin: “Here FL Studio, with this program you are able to make music all by yourself!” That was Fruity Loops 3. I was bowled over by it and no one could get me off the computer. Many days and nights have passed since then and thanks to fruity loops, I am, not getting enough of creating music in the most intuitive way.
