Tell us about yourself & how you got into music?

I love to write and produce pop/dance music filled with infectious beats, catchy lyrics, and melodies.  I have been surrounded by music my entire life. I was singing in a microphone before I could even pronounce words, I was writing my own songs, making up my own dances and performing since day one. My parents had their own band, my mother and father are both songwriters, we have always had a studio in our house so my whole upbringing I was surrounded by a super creative family. Performing and making music was all I have ever known growing up.

Tell us about your passion for inspiring young people?

I am passionate about sharing my journey with young artists, getting positive messages out there to kids and teens creating motivational content to inspire to live a creative, active and healthy life.

Empowering young people to deal with their feelings by using music, dance and performing opportunities. So many kids are fraught with low self-esteem and low self-confidence, especially those with common challenges such as inclusion, discrimination, depression, abuse, anxiety, and bullying. These children in particular need to be reminded of their unique skills, talents, and strengths, and to focus on all the positive and wonderful qualities they possess. My message is “DON’T QUIT YOUR DAYDREAM”.

How did you start using FL Studio & what does it mean to your productions?

I got into music production using Cubase at a very young age I think I was like only 7 years old when my Dad first set me up with my own little desk next to him in his studio, I then went on to Protools straight after that. I was introduced to FL Studio from my dad, he was looking for a DAW that was more suitable to my style of writing and producing which is using loops, playing around with midi coming up with different sounds. FL Studio just seems to run really easy on my desktop and laptop and when I am traveling I need everything in one place and works with all my external hardware. Protools just seems too resource heavy and is not super compatible with my audio interfaces. When I get inspired to create some music I want things just to boot up and start working straight away and FL Studio does this for me every time and it is so super-fast and easy.

Tell us about your production environment & toys?

I like to keep it really simple, a microphone, midi keyboard controller, audio interface, a good set of speakers and a mixing desk of some sort so I can patch in random gear when I need it. When I perform live, I use my DJ Decks and laptop on stage, I am currently using TRAKTOR KONTROL  but I think it is time for an upgrade.
