Tell us about yourself & how you got into music? I started around 2008, in that moment I was really fascinated with electronic music and especially in the way that it was made. I went through genres such as progressive house, trance, electro, dubstep and trap/hip hop. I began producing music when I was around 11 and today at 22 I am lucky I can make a living out of it and I’ve accomplished many goals that were unimaginable to me, like playing in Lollapalooza, Creamfields, and travel around the world playing my songs. I produce under the name MYKKA and write music for many well known artist here in Argentina, plus I still make dubstep under my own name. Who are some of the people you have produced for? I produced and worked with artists like bad bunny, duki, khea, cazzu, omar varela, seven kayne, bhavi and ehide.

How did you start using FL Studio & what does it mean to your productions? FL Studio was the first DAW that I used and I still work with it today. At first it was kind of a “game” (when I was 11), and I mostly used it to make drum patterns and maybe some melodies, until I discovered what I could really make with it. At that time I could not let go of it and I started looking up on the internet how to use it as well as possible. For me FL Studio was always a way of expressing myself unconventionally, which is the only one that helps me to get feelings out. It changed my life in a radical way and for that I will always be grateful.
Tell us about your production environment & toys? I love to produce music mostly in my bedroom because is the place where I feel most comfortable and I do not need many things more than an audio interface, studio monitors and headphones. I also spend a lot of time in the studio of Mueva Records where I make collaborations with friends and other producers from the same label. Mostly I used Serum and Massive, those are my favorite vst’s, but I would love to get some analog synths too. Do you have any links you would like to share? https://www.facebook.com/mykkamykka/ Mykka
