Save/Export File Formats

This section contains a description of the file formats to which FL Studio can save/export a project. They are all accessible from the Save and Export commands in the File menu.

• Audio and MIDI - Wave (*.wav), Mpeg Layer 3 (*.mp3), FLAC (.flac), OGG (.ogg) and MIDI (*.mid)
• WavPack compressed .wav files. Wavepack is a lossless (when lossless is selected from the quality setting pop-up) compression standard. Perfect for archiving project .wav files. You can expect between 30% and 70% reduction in file sizes. Use Edison.
• Raw project files - FL Studio Loop File (*.flp)
• Complete project files - Zipped Loop File (*.zip)
