In Memory of Juan Antonio Arguelles
“Juan Antonio Arguelles was born on November 2, 1978, in Málaga, Spain. In 1997, Arguru started out as one of the most productive plugin developers of the Jeskola buzz-scene. In 2000, he and Frank Cobos (known as "Freaky") began mixing psytrance as a duo in Malaga under the name Alienated Buddha.”

Sunday night, the 3rd of June 2007, we lost one of our most talented developers, Juan Antonio Arguelles, known to most of you as Arguru.
He will be missed by all of us as one of the most friendly and talented developers we ever worked with and want to send our condolences to his family and especially his fiancée Pili.
Software created by Arguru includes: Deckadance (2006), over 30 Buzz Machines (TB-4004, Alpha, Guru, …), Noisetrekker, TraxVox, LastTracker, Aeonix, Psycle, ThrillMe, NightShine, EqQ30, Phantom, Vertigo, Saiko, Discovery, HighLife, AODIX, Stardust, Voyager, DirectWave, Mini Mario Bros (for PSP, 2006)

Argu's obituary in Computer Music
Argu first became known to many computer musicians around the beginning of the millennium thanks to his numerous Buzz machines. He was a regular visitor to the popular #buzz and #musicdsp IRC channels, as Ohm Force’s Laurent de Soras recalls: “I remember endless technical discussions about interpolation and oversampling – one of the hottest topics in the audio development field in those days. It was fascinating because he could release one complete program almost every week.”
Laurent adds: “We will miss you for sure, but you’ll stay alive in all these wonderful masterpieces you gave us.”
Deadmau5 wrote the song 'Arguru' to remember Argu. It appears on Tiësto's album In search of Sunrise.
