Novation has refreshed its FL Studio-focused controller lineup with the launch of FLkey 2, a new generation of MIDI keyboards developed alongside Image‑Line. The update brings a stronger focus on workflow and hands-on control, with deeper integration across FL Studio’s Channel Rack, Mixer, plugins, and sequencing tools. New additions include more responsive RGB pads, endless encoders, enhanced DAW scripting, and an OLED display that surfaces key project information directly on the keyboard.
FLkey 2 arrives in Mini 25, 37, 49, and 61-key models, with the larger versions gaining semi-weighted keybeds aimed at a more expressive playing experience. Creative performance features remain central to the range. Users can build ideas using Scale Mode, an onboard arpeggiator, and three Chord Modes – Chord Map, User Chord, and Fixed Chord – while Score Log ensures ideas aren’t lost, even when recording is off. FLkey 2 is available now in 4 sizes, ranging from 25 to 61 keys. Find out more on novationmusic.com
