Why the pros love FL Cloud

"FL Cloud is what I would have wanted when I first started out making beats. You open FL Studio and you have it right there — you can just search up any sound you want."

Murda Beatz

"This is a game changer. They’re putting Splice out of business. It just makes the process of finding and previewing samples so much easier and faster. Name another DAW that does it like this. You can’t."

Larry Ohh

"You get access to a whole bunch of different drums, loops, and melodies. And all you have to do is drag and drop them into the Playlist."

Frequently asked questions

What is FL Cloud?

FL Cloud is a powerful add-on for FL Studio that gives you access to a massive library of royalty-free samples, AI-powered mastering, music distribution, and a collection of top-tier plugins. It’s designed to expand your creativity and streamline your workflow, all directly within FL Studio.

What’s the difference between FL Cloud and FL Studio?

FL Studio is a complete DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) for music production, while FL Cloud is an add-on service that enhances your FL Studio experience. FL Cloud gives you access to a huge library of sounds, AI-powered mastering, music distribution, and exclusive plugins—integrated directly within FL Studio to streamline your workflow.

Do I need to subscribe to FL Cloud?

You can access FL Cloud Free as an FL Studio user, even if you’re on a trial version. For more features, there are monthly or annual subscriptions for FL Cloud Plus or Pro.

What happens if my subscription ends?

If you cancel your subscription, you’ll still be able to access any sounds you downloaded while subscribed. Plus, you can reopen and edit projects with any FL Cloud plugins you’ve used up to five times, for 24 hours each time.

Can I use FL Cloud on multiple computers?

You can activate FL Cloud plugins on up to three machines. After that, the oldest machine gets deactivated.

Are FL Cloud plugins available in other DAWs?

FL Cloud plugins work in other DAWs, but if there are any subscription-related issues (like a canceled or lapsed subscription), you’ll only see error information when using them in FL Studio.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

You’ll retain access to all the sounds you’ve downloaded, and you can reopen old projects with FL Cloud plugins for up to 24 hours, five times. But after cancellation, you can’t access Pro-only plugins unless you resubscribe.

What happens when my trial ends?

When your trial ends, if you're a subscriber, you'll continue with the FL Cloud Plus plan. If you're not subscribed, you'll be switched to FL Cloud Free.

Can I use my plugins after my trial ends?

Yes, you can keep all the plugins and sounds you downloaded during your trial, but FL Cloud Pro-only plugins will be locked unless you resubscribe to Pro.

Will new plugins be added to FL Cloud?

Yes, we regularly add new plugins to FL Cloud’s paid plans, so expect more content over time.

What happens if a manufacturer stops supporting a plugin?

If a plugin is no longer supported, we’ll keep the last available version for you. However, we can only support it as long as the developer allows.

Why am I asked for my email to download some plugins?

Some third-party plugins require an email opt-in for access. You can unsubscribe from their emails at any time directly via the partner’s website.

Why can’t I install some plugins directly from the FL Cloud app?

Some plugins require their own installer and activation process through the third-party’s own system. You’ll be given a serial number inside FL Cloud to use with their installer.

What are the system requirements for FL Cloud?

FL Cloud’s system requirements are the same as FL Studio’s, so if your system runs FL Studio, it’ll run FL Cloud just fine.

FL Cloud is an add-on subscription for FL Studio. It gives you access to a large sample library of royalty-free sounds, third-party plugins, and FLEX Packs, plus tools to help you master and release your music. FL Cloud is built into FL Studio as an integrated service.
What’s included depends on your plan. Plus and Pro are paid plans, giving you access to the full sample library, as well as more third-party plugins and additional services.

You can see what’s included in each plan here.
A sample library is a collection of sounds you can use in your music, such as drums, instruments, loops, and effects.
Yes. You can use the samples in your music without paying extra fees or royalties.
You can find the FL Cloud sample library in the “Sounds” tab of the FL Studio browser.
FL Studio is a complete DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). It's a music production software where you build beats, record, arrange, and mix your songs.

FL Cloud is an optional subscription service that adds extra sounds, plugins, presets, mastering and distribution tools inside FL Studio.
No. FL Studio works on its own. FL Cloud is optional and only adds extra content and tools.
When your subscription ends:

  • You lose access to FL Cloud paid products, features, and services

  • Samples you downloaded or used in projects stay available for use
Plugins can’t be used, but can be reactivated for 24 hours, up to 5 times, if you need them again

  • FLEX Packs will still play audio in projects, but the interface will be locked

  • DistroKid access continues until the end of your billing period
Yes. You can use FL Cloud on any computer where you log into FL Studio.
FL Cloud plugins can be installed on up to three computers. If you install on a fourth, the oldest installation will be deactivated.
We’re always adding new sample packs to FL Cloud, with new packs added daily.
Yes, we regularly add new plugins to FL Cloud at no extra cost. As a subscriber, you get access as soon as they're available. We'll notify you by email when new plugins are added.
If you don’t cancel before the free trial ends, your paid FL Cloud plan will start automatically and your card will be charged. You’ll receive an email reminder before the trial ends.
If a plugin is no longer supported, we’ll keep the last available version for you for as long as the developer allows it.
Some plugins require an email opt-in for access from their developers. You can unsubscribe from their emails at any time directly via the partner’s website.
Some plugins require their own installer and activation process through the developer’s own system. You’ll be given a serial number inside FL Cloud to use with their installer.
FL Cloud’s system requirements are the same as for FL Studio, so if your computer runs FL Studio, it’ll run FL Cloud.
You need an internet connection to browse, preview, and download sounds. After you add sounds to your projects, you can use them offline.

You also need an internet connection to install FL Cloud plugins.
Yes. You can see the full list of plugins included in your FL Cloud plan here.
