Tell us about how you got into music ?
I produce/remix Trance music since the day one of my career, and as a moviephile I also compose soundtracks for Games and Animes. that said, my other career side is Motion Graphic designer making graphical commercials, VFX stuffs, but it also links to my main music career as I progress and meet new people of the industry.
I got into music when I was 12 but there’s more behind that why I became a producer. At 7 my auntie tought me a little piano and guitar but I didnt get into that much since it’s the age of kids addicted to TV games and I was one, Until the first Playstation came and MTV Music generator (Music2000 in other country) was born, that tool triggered my sleeping interest in music, my first creation was the remix of Prelude from Final Fantasy 7 into Trance, that’s how I got started.
What have you been working on?
I been working on alot of lately since people outside Japan are requesting more from me and recently I have signed with some international trance record labels so more of those works coming up and also Vocaloid music.
My past work was for a game called “Little Buster EX” as a remix/arranger for a character theme song called “Saya’s Sleepy Requiem”, which is now made into Anime TV series. The second one is from SHOT MUSIC again remixing a game theme song for their first compilation CD and lastly for a Vocaloid called “Aoki Lapis” remixing an Anime OP theme called “Higurashi no nakukoro ni” using her Voice as one of their Official DEMO.
How did you start using FL Studio & what does it mean to your productions?
I stared using FL since 3 when I first had my PC in high school. Back then I was DJying at local clubs with my little second hand Yamaha MTR to record the performance and sell Mix CD bootleg for a little profit. after a while I realise and ask my self how about making my own mix in my PC? that’s the first time I Yahoo’ed it (Google was minor back then). I saw an article of a software that can do loops and met FL. I installed FL Studio 3 to my PC as a DEMO, I instantly got hooked again on making music.
FL Studio is my main DAW until today, I don’t know how you folks at IL made it so good I always feel like a fat kid who can’t stop eating candy when using FL.
Even though I have other studio standard softwares, FL has vast endless possibility modular way of creating a music compare to other.
without having the mixer connected to the instrument you can stack layer instruments, with FL 11 patcher it gets more endless, I love the way everyone is emulating those famous plugin FX with only using FL native plugins inside a patcher.
