Tell us about yourself & how you got into music?
My artist name is Prince Kaybee (Kabelo Motsamai). I love music, making beats, producing and mixing. Been doing it for 10 years and it has changed my life for the better especially the music software that I use which is FL Studio. I’m mostly into House/Dance music and as a DJ that is what I’m known for playing. Apart from music I’m into cars, I love modifying them and knowing more about specific brands of cars.
Tell us about your plans for the future?
I usually don’t plan ahead too much. I like to do whatever I feel like doing at the moment. However I really like where my YouTube channel is going so I will definitely try to keep working on that. I’d also love to make some more music for movies and TV shows as I really love the connection between music and film. We will see what exactly the future holds but I don’t think I would ever stop producing music altogether. So that would be one thing that I definitely don’t plan on doing.
How did you start using FL Studio & what does it mean to your productions?
A friend of mine introduced me to FL Studio back when the FL 3 was still popular and it was hard at first but after a few years I got the hang of it. I carried on and never looked back till this day. FL Studio means a lot to my music because if it wasn’t for it I wouldn’t be a professional artist and it has contributed to my production so much it has changed my families lives in a positive way, I even started showing my son how to use it.
Tell us about your production environment and toys?
I have a pretty basic setup, use a Mac Laptop but use windows on it when I use FL Studio. Four studio monitors, a soundcard, a monitor station and a Mic.
