FL Studio 10.5 introduced Performance Mode and it's proving to be a huge hit with customers. Image-Line's CTO, JMC, recently connected 9 x FLaunchpads and 6 x video monitors to FL Studio to do some 'stress testing'. We are happy to report everything worked perfectly and we thought you'd like to see a video, so here it is:
There are many ways to control Performance Mode, you can use one of the pad-style controllers including an Akai APC20/40, Hexler TouchOSC, Livid Block, liine (i)Lemur, Novation Launchpad, Native Instruments MASCHINE (& MIKRO), Traktor Kontrol F1, KORG padKONTROL or Korg nanoKONTROL II. Alternatively you can use any standard MIDI controller including keyboards, drum pads etc. You can even use the typing keyboard or a touch-screen directly on the Playlist (just make sure to download the FL Studio 10.6 beta for touch functions)
If you'd like to submit a Performance Mode video, feel free to drop one into our performance video thread here. BTW: If you are wondering what a FLaunchpad is, here's a close up of one below. They are functionally identical to the standard Novation Launchpad, so if 9 x FLaunchpads work simultaneously then so will 9 x Launchpads.

Enjoy!
